Plattenhof in St. Peter im Schwarzwald

A great place and a very good tavern. Unfortunately closed during Corona time. A hike in the snow or summer from St. Peter is a great story.

You can't go in at the inn now because of Corona, but they have a very good idea to sell outside and the Schnitzel Wegen tasted good, I can only recommend it, they also have drinks and other food.

We slept one night in the hut room as part of a stage hike. Unfortunately we had no warm water that day because of a technical Malfunction. The hut is spartan and the bathroom is dirty. Breakfast very simple. For this service it wasn't worth the € 80 per night for two. Unfortunately we won't come by anymore.

Very disappointing! We had to wait over two hours for food. The long waiting time was not communicated in any way. The food was also greasy and of poor quality.

17.10. Stop with hunger pangs. Dish of the day: noodle soup! Giant gutter with 2 slices of very good bread. After a bite of the bread and three large spoons of noodle soup, I had to stop. I was expecting something homemade but there is no such thing as a gastronomy meal in cans. Contents: Vermicelli with dried meat cubes. The broth was indefinable and salty. NEVER AGAIN!

Nice place for hiking, but eating in the eatery, doesn't get excited, wouldn't try again

We ate at Gasthaus Plattenhof after a hike to the Zweribach waterfalls. The food was really delicious (also the cake highly recommended). When you consider that everything comes fresh from the farm - just great! The service was also very nice. We'd love to come back :-)!

After our hike to the Zweribach waterfalls, we stopped for dinner. We were able to enjoy delicious local specialties with perfectly chilled drinks on the beautiful terrace. I would be happy to do it again on occasion ......

It is a nice place. But if there is too much going on you can see the stress of the service. Unfortunately, you wait a long time and the break lasts

Nice stop, the prices are very correct given the really nice surroundings. Very nice little waterfall a little lower at 30 min walk. What to digest after the meal, where to quench your thirst after walking.

Great yard with a great playground and a well-equipped apartment. The food in the restaurant is plentiful and tasty. The team is very nice and we felt comfortable. Even our forgotten things were sent home within 2 days, thank you again! We would love to come back :)

We were there for 5 days. We liked everything, it was clean, the food tasted great and the whole family is super friendly! You can also buy meat & sausage on site (family has its own butcher shop) I can recommend everyone with good conscience!

Nice inn with many animals around it (cows, chickens, goats). The food is good and I find it very cheap. For example Beef roulade with spaetzle for 12 € or 400gr beef fillet for 22 €, where you can find something like this today.

Delicious home cooking, decent portions, fair prices and super nice staff. The location and views are good too. In addition, the cows were very friendly and there were little goat babies.
